Whoa~ First day of blogging… certainly exciting!
Honestly, I have no idea where to start off … so I guess I would like to say congrats to Allan A. Martin! We have been fundraising the last three weeks, and I must say, we did quite amazing with only a bit over 400 students. WE RAISED MORE THAN $10, 000 FOR HAITI~~~ WOOT WOOT!!! We also got together 113 pairs of shoes.
The devestating earthquake hit the Haitans and us quite strongly. Immdediately, the entire school started to brainstorm ideas to fundraise.
Some activites we did were dodgeball, Buskerfest, Hoops for Haiti (taking pictures with friends while supporting Olympic Athletes), Indoor Yard Sale, Staff vs. Student Volleyball game (and the students won all thanx to me 
), Candy grams on V-Day, dance-a-thon where students danced 45 min. straight, a fundraising week… And SO much more!! The students at our school were truly enthusiastic with these ideas.
Fun+good cause=enthusiasm & great response… hope this gives you some ideas for fundraising as well!!!
