Well, I enjoy school, for the most part, but cooking 3 square meals with my friends (and dessert) made me think again. I’ve always had a dream school, that was rather unique and didn’t follow normal school standards.
Monday: Academic day. This is the day where all day you learn each subject. This includes, history, geography, language arts, world history and a second language.
Tuesday: Arts day. Taking a break from all the serious learning, this day you go through all the arts. Art, music, culinary arts, martial arts, drama and dance are just some of the different forms you get to learn this day.
Wednesday: Athletic day. Depending on the season, this day you get to be fit and active and learn swimming, to track and field or basketball to baseball.
Thursday: Business day. Take a look at life outside of school. This time, under the schools influence you can go out to the real world and take a job. It helps you figure out your future and what you want to do.
Friday: Re-cap day. After all the homework given each day, you go to each class preforming the required, handing in work or doing a quiz.
Saturday and Sunday: Take a break from everything, and you get no homework this 2 days, sit back, relax and enjoy your weekend without worry!
And that’s my ideal school, in which I am also writing about in a novel I hope to publish in the future. Please let me know what you think.
P.S. I Understand What You’re Saying part 2 is coming out next week, I was so busy I forgot to write until today, the last day of the week.
Day eighteen of blogging.

I cannot believe that my middle school life is almost over. Like i never thought that there would come a day where i have to grow up and , well not grow up but mature more. Also hvaing to learn how to sit in a classroom for more than 45min( man that’s going to be challenging).
I don’t want to give up my fun and not so hard life yet but it’s all part of growing up isn’t?
Do you ever wonder what the world would be like if everybody was the age they really are inside?

Long title? Yeah, sorry about that! Well what does it mean? Basically, it means OIL!
Now if you guys are caught up with the news, and global issues, you probably know about the HUGE spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Now this was really unfortuante.

Now this is one of the hundred of pictures found at ; http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/04/30/louisiana-oil-spill-2010_n_558287.html#s101477
This diasater is affecting everyone. This is affecting all the poor animals in these waters, and can you imagine how long, and expensive this would be/take to clean up? Lets hope this issue is resolved, and this will all be back to normal soon.

I am in the IBT program (International Business & Tech). So, we learn about business.
In grade 7, we are given the Hot Dog Stand project at the end of the year to test our overall knowledge about business. The things you have to do for this project include name, logo, slogan, business cards, website ( your welcome to visit mine – I made it, it’s my first try at a website
—>www.wix.com/1tosix/Red-Hot), business plan based on the 4 P’s of marketing, conduct surveys and analyse results, etc.
And then when each group is done their binders, we had to do a 4 min presentation in fornt of the class, presenting our own infos. Everyone votes for their favorite (by that I mean most professional, wellrounded, suitable) group. Then, every group voted from each class gets to compete in front of the entire gr. 7 IBT students, where we get one winner. This winner gets to actually sell hot dogs during lunch one day ( and make some money!) Cool, eh?
I was really glad that my group won from our class. We were surprised in a good way. Today, we went to compete in front all of the gr. 7. We did not expect to win – we knew that it was good that we made it this far already. We just hoped for a smooth presentation.
In the end, we came in second.
Overall, I think it was really fun. I enjoyed with my assigned group, and I think we worked together very well. It has definitly been a great experience for next years Trade Show! Briefly, it’s where students make a product and sells it to parents and students on a Trade Show night in May.
Oh, and by the way.. tomorrow’s the Montreal Ottawa Quebec trip ( just to tell you how fast time flies)!
